About Quinn Geear
My Path Into Coaching
I’ve spent more than two decades in tech, watching brilliant, creative people struggle inside systems that weren't built for how they think. When I received my ADHD diagnosis, something clicked. It gave me a deeper understanding of the patterns I’d been seeing all along in myself and in the people around me. That mix of insight and curiosity is what pulled me toward coaching.
My ADHD Story
I was diagnosed with ADHD in my 40s, right as perimenopause started turning up the volume on everything. Suddenly, the strategies that used to keep me afloat stopped working. My symptoms intensified, my focus slipped, and my nights were filled with racing thoughts. The diagnosis gave me language for the chaos, compassion for the parts of me that were trying to cope, and a clear call to adventure to learn how it shows up for me and how I needed to support myself.
How My Brain Works
I’m diagnosed with combination-type ADHD, which means my mind moves fast and wide. I can hyperfocus for hours, lose track of time, forget why I walked into a room, or bounce between ideas like a pinball machine. Learning to embrace that rhythm has been one of the most freeing parts of my journey.
What I Bring to Coaching
Outside of coaching, I’m a collage artist. My creative practice has taught me a lot about flow, self-compassion, and the beauty of working intuitively. It’s where I rediscover balance and remind myself that structure and creativity can coexist. I bring that same energy into coaching through warmth, practicality, humor, and a genuine belief that the right support looks different for every brain.
My Philosophy
I coach the whole person. ADHD touches everything, how you think, how you feel, how you move through the world, and how you relate to yourself. The work we do together isn't just about strategies. It's about finding your way back to who you actually are. Mind, body, and inner life. All of it connected, all of it worth honoring.
